embedded-perl

Hello everybody:
 
I configured nagios with  "--enable-embedded-perl --with-perlcache"
options.
When I start it, I get a segment violation, I couldn't get any other
clue, no any other message in /var/log/messages.
If I take these options away, every thing is ok, so nagios configuration
is ok. 
Any body can help me?
