NSClient or SNMP?

Hi,

I'm monitoring several Compaq servers with Nagios and CIM7. While CIM7
should be responsible for hardware failures and traps, I want Nagios to
monitor services and other stuff. Since I have already all those Compaq
Agents running on those machines, should I use SNMP für status infos
(diskspace, traffic) or should I use NSClient?
With SNMP, how can I find out the OIDs that are interesting?
