Yes. It's all in the docs.  If the user validates by htaccess and is
a user defined in a contact group then the user can see all hosts/
services that notify that contact group.  Certain users get global
"see everything" rights.  Again, it IS in the documentation, although
you have to hunt around a little because there's no single "who gets
to see what" page (or maybe there is and I missed it).
