rrdtool/mrtg

Hi,

I'am looking for a solution to read rrdtool databases created with mrtg so that i can let nagios check the use of a WAN connection.
The APAN util can't be used because that the rrdtool databases are on an other machine due to high performace load of our nagios machine.
I can read the rrdtool database.

Has any one have an idea
