i try to compile:

bash-2.05a# ./configure --disable-ssl --enable-command-args

bash-2.05a# gmake all

when i use this

bash-2.05a# /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H 172.22.51.48
CHECK_NRPE: Response packet had invalid CRC32.

Jean-jacques, I get the same error!!!
I solved this issue using nrpe-cvs version that seems to work fine.
