nrpe inetd vs daemon

Hi all,
I compiled nrpe (cvs version) on HP-UX 11.11
If I run nrpe as stand alone daemon I have no problem but if I try to configure it in inetd mode i get this message:

CHECK_NRPE: Response packet had invalid CRC32.


Do you have any idea?
