nagios & Gentoo Linux, web interface directory empty?

This is a specific request to those that have installed Nagios on Gentoo 
Linux. I have emerge'd all of Nagios, added the changes to my APACHE2 
virtual host definitions for the /nagios/ directive.. when it gave me an 
error trying to surf saying I had no permissions, I check the directory 
/usr/nagios/share... it's empty other than the images subdir. 


Anyone use this with Gentoo that can point me to what i may not have 
included? I want to stay with portage products.

My make.conf has the use variables:

USE="gd X gtk gtk2 apache2 gnome mbox pam pwdb python perl cdr ssl -ipv6 
-kde -alsa -qt"
