nsca issues

actually I found the problem. I would run the send nsca command using echo -e and It retrned with "0 packets sent successfully". Ithought that was strange and I found that echo does not support -e with tab delimination. So I took -e out and made the command in my submit_check_result comma deliminated.

/bin/echo "$1;$2;$3;$4" | /usr/local/nagios/bin/send_nsca -H 192.168.50.50 -d ";" -c ../etc/send_nsca.cfg

thanks for the reply,

How is nsca daemon run? Can you try from each distributed machine to connect
to FreeBSD 5.0 using telnet ipfreebsd50 5667 then let us know if you get a
ESTABLISHED connection and doesn't kick you off.

Also check your encryption and password. I never had any issues with it
using mix Unix and Windows.
