Hi Lars,

In de my.cnf file normal in /etc is a default entry log-bin. Put a # in front of it and restart mysql.
The default entry put mysql as a Master sever and creates the index and bin files for a replication slave.

Hi,

I have some strange problem: When I have nagios running, a index file of the
mysql grows very fast. Machine crashed this night because of full disk.
Anyone has an idea where I could check what goes wrong here?

Lars
