Combining notifications

Greetings,

My hosts are currently using Nagios to watch for things like number of
processes, available swap, number of imap processes, etc. When a host has a
problem, there are typically lots of notifications that happen; the load
increases, number of processes increases, swap declines, etc. Thus, I get
notified several times. I would like Nagios to combine all of the
notifications into a single notification. It should tell me all the same
information that the individual notifications would, just all in one
instead. I think Nagios must have this kind of functionality but I haven't
yet been able to track it down. Any ideas?
