Hey...

I'm having trouble configuring Apan on my Nagios server.

Ping works fine, but snmp dosn't.

I can use:
snmpget -v 1 -c "community" unv08 .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.2
- on the host, a NT4 server.

Apan.debug says:
Apan could not find service 'Net' on host 'unv08'.

<configs>
apan.cfg:
unv08;Net;/usr/local/nagios/rrd/UNV08_Net-usage.rrd;"community":.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.2|"community":.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.2;IN:LINE2
OUT:LINE2;Network throughput;Bytes/sek;
checkcommands.cfg:
define command {
command_name                   apan-sql
command_line                   /usr/local/nagios/apan-sql/apan-sql.sh
$ARG1$ $HOSTNAME$ $SERVICEDESC$ $TIMET$ $ARG2$ $ARG3$}

services.cfg:
define service{
        use                             nt-service
        host_name                       unv08
        service_description             Net
        check_command                   apan-sql!snmpget!10!20
        }
</configs>

unv08 is set in /etc/hosts.

My first though was that the snmpget didn't suply the -v 1 parameter, so i
manualy configured it in check_snmp in checkcommands.cfg. By the look of
the snmp.sh plug in Apan it looked to me like Apan uses the Nagios check.
Am I right? Any way.. it didn't work :-(I'm a bit lost now, so any guidens is very velcome.

Regards
Rune Zimmermann
