Not getting email alerts

I have no notification intervals set to 0 anywhere in my configuration. 
The smallest notification interval for any of my hosts other than the 
testing host is 20 minutes.

My host notifcation period is 24x7 for the contact.

If a union of notify ever 20 minutes & notify me 24x7 ends up in a single 
host alert, I'd assume that is a bug.
If a union of notify every 30 minutes & notify me 24x7 ends up in a single 
host alert, I'd assume that is a bug too.

Yeah, and I've noted to more than half a dozen people that explanation 
doesn't follow, given my configuration.
