Exclude hosts that are down in service problems

Hi list,

When I have a host that is down for repairs, I can acknowledge the 
problem, and I can put the host in scheduled maintainance, but I always
keep seeing the host and its services as down and critical in the
service problems page.

Is there a way to temporarily exclude such hosts ? Or change the color
to something other than red ?
I know that for services, I can just disable the checks and submit 
an external check to set it to OK, but is this possible for hosts 
as well ?
