Gd problems

Hi Brad,

I'm having trouble thinking back to when I installed and compiled
Nagios, and I'm running Debian 3.0 (2.2 kernel) but I seem to recall
installing the -dev packages for libgd and libpng - maybe they're
required.

However in the ./configure when I'm building nagios, im still getting
grief

Any ideas?

Nagios 1.2
Debian
Linux version 2.4.25 

All the others, zlib, libpng etc seem to be detecting ok, just gd I've
tried downloading gd-2.0.27 and configuring that, this is my GD summary
after the configure

** Configuration summary for gd 2.0.27:

   Support for PNG library:          yes
   Support for JPEG library:         no
   Support for Freetype 2.x library: no
   Support for Xpm library:          no
   Support for pthreads:             yes


Is there a specific apt package that I should be using for gd to work
with nagios specifically? I seem to have tried a few different methods
of compiling various versions of gd with little success of nagios
detecting it correctly.

Any ideas?
