nsclient problem

dear group;
it is my first time using nagios and i want to use nagios to check windows
servers using nsclient.exe . i follow the docs and i install the nsclient .
it adds the registry keys and open 1248 port as intended .
now when i try to use nagios deamon to quary nsclient i get nothing . if i
run the "check_nt" from the nagios server manually using the specified
options i got that  error "Connection refused by host" this message changes
to "socket time out if the server is unreachable . what i can d to solve
this problem .
