the cgi's are written in C
so you may edit the C files in the cgi/ (src) directory)
and recompile them with e.g: make tac.cgi && cp -f tac.cgi /usr/local/nagios/sbin/

Betreff: [Nagios-users] Compiling CGI's

After having successfully installed and configured Nagios 1.2 so that it
was running great I went to open up some of the CGI files in a text editor
so that I could customise them, only to find that they weren't in a text
based format. So my question is: how do I compile Nagios to make my CGI
files text based rather than the unreadable format that they are currently in?

Any help or suggestions much appreciated!

Alex
