Problem with Apan Graphs

Hi Fredrik --

I checked the Apache error_log file, and while there was no reference to rrdtool
there was a large amount of
ERROR: unknown option '1' messages. I also checked the access.log file and I
noticed a decent amount of lines
that read <ip address> - <username> [date:time -0400] "GET
/nagios/cgi-bin/generate-sql.cgi?#&# HTTP/1.1 200 5.

I did a find as command as root to look for the apancgi.log file, and there was
none to be found. The apancgi.debug
file did not appear to have any further updates to it, while the rrd file within
the <nagios dir>/rrd directory did
show that it had been modified.

I was looking through the apan.defs file and currently the image type that is
being created is png. One idea I had
was to change the filetype from png to gif or gd. What do you think?

Check in the webservers error-log if rrdtool gives you any messages.
Also look in apancgi.log; The whole command that generates the graph
should be there. Try to run the comand manually (change the first '-' to
a name of a file you want the image written to) and see if you get any
errors.
