Hm.  and the rrdtool fetch shows nothing?  that's unusual.  What if you
pipe that fetch command to 'grep -v nan' and see what else it shows (if
anything)

well, it SHOULD update them every time it runs, and it should be running
often (like at lease once per 5 minutes), or rrdtool thinks it's junk
information.

yeah, if there are spaces, that'll really mess it up.

Okay - as I said before in another email, I 'roll my own', so I can only
assume that it did it correctly.
