Problem Getting the APAN Link to Appear in Nag ios

make sure your apan.defs file is all correct.

and in there, there are 4 debug-related lines - DEBUG, DEBUGFILE,
CGIDEBUG, and CGIDEBUGFILE.  Set DEBUG and CGIDEBUG to 1 (or more, if
you need it) then check the two files for info.

Can you pull values via rrdtool manually?  Obviously change this to your
paths:
/usr/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool fetch
/usr/local/nagios/rrd/serverA_Ping.rrd AVERAGE

(that should be one line, if it wraps for you)

If you see a bunch of "nan"s, you're not collecting your values.
