Permission denied for /bin/mail

Hi, I'm getting the following errors when I start Nagios:

sh: line 1: /bin/mail: Permission denied

/bin/mail -s "Host DOWN alert for sv09!" visigoth at home.nl" resulted in a
return code of 126. Make sure the script or binary you are trying to
execute actually exists...

/bin/mail is: -rwxrwx---    1 bin      mail        83905 Jun 23  2002
/bin/mail*
I asume I need to give user 'nagios' permission to execute that binary?
How do I do that?
