Hi,
I have a ring topology network as shown below that I wish to monitor with
nagios. If i try to configure this network in nagios using the parents
field of the host definition i get an error about circular parents. Can
nagios handle a network of this type? If so what sort of configuration do
I need?
I am running Nagios 1.1 with the new templated config file.
Example Network
A ------ B ------ C

| |
D ------ E ------- F
|
|
N
Nodes A-E are the routers in the ring network, Node N is the nagios host.
