Fwd: help, nagios only half working (Problem fixed)

It turns out that, in /etc/init.d/nagios file it su's to the nagios 
user and touch's a file... somewhere along the line after compiling 
nagios i changed the username used with nagios and did not think it 
would cause any problems... How wrong was I!
