Question about distribuited nagios

Hi,

I want to xonfigure a distribuited nagios, and I read that I have to configure all service and hosts (in the remote hosts) in the hosts.cfg and services.cfg file in the central server.

I have a qustion?

If I do any change in the hosts or services configured in the remote hosts (active checks) I have to change the same on the central server in the hosts and service definition.??? Or this ocurred only when I change certain parameters?.
