check_ircd woes

I've been having some issues getting the check_ircd plugin to work. I've
set up the command definition as this:

define command {
    command_name check_ircd
    command_line $USER1$/check_ircd -H $HOSTADDRESS$
}

I have a group of servers for an irc network I oper on, and was wanting
to just monitor how many users each host had locally. Whenever I run
this, I get this as status information: 

Invalid warning threshold: -H 

I've looked through the docs and online, but couldn't find an answer.
What am I missing?
