Nagios AND AD permissions

Just a guess because I haven't actually done it but I would imagine that
you could set this up using mod_pam and samba-3.0. I've been successful
getting unix authentication for login/sshd/gdm working against AD
(fairly easily). mod_pam would seem to be a logical extension of that
functionality. Just remember that any user in your AD domain would be
able to log in unless you had some sort of restrictions in place and
that they would need to be valid contacts and members of valid
contact_groups in Nagios before they could see anything in Nagios.

Take a peek at the Samba docs on winbindd.
