Cmd file

After pasting my Nagios config into an e-mail I was going to send, I
found that I was missing a setting in the nagios.cfg. Thanks for the
help.

At this point, apache is not a factor. If the command file is not being
created then you've got something misconfigured within nagios or wrong
permissions somewhere. Do you have 

check_external_commands=1
command_file=/usr/local/nagios/var/rw/nagios.cmd

in nagios.cfg and restarted nagios? Is there anything in nagios.log that
indicates a problem?
