Problem with check_by_ssh...

Did you create the ssh keys with the nagios user?

Configured my service.cfg as follows:

use generic-service
host_name sweet
service_description Cpu Load
contact_groups testadmins
check_period workhours

notification_options w,u,c,r
notification_period 24x7
check_command check_by_ssh!"/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_load -w
70,60,50 -c 90,80,70"
max_check_attempts 3
normal_check_interval 5
retry_check_interval 1
}

When nagios is doing that check, it returns "Host key verification failed"

Any ideas???
