Terminal Services Monitoring

I did however get this to work, somewhat:

./check_nt -H server1 -p 1248 -v COUNTER -l \\Terminal Services\\Total
Sessions

it just returns a number, and in this case the number 2. It seems that
even with no active TS sessions, it returns 1, I guess for the Console.

You can use the NSClient. There are performance counters for terminal
services that can be monitored with NSClient.

I just wrote a Perl daemon similar to netsaint_statd and added my own
subroutines that use Win32::Lanman. This module has functionality in it
to interrogate Terminal Services. I don't use it for Nagios, but it
could be used for it by opening up a socket, passing the correct
parameters and grab the response.

I would use http://www.snmp4tpc.com snmpw2k plus, it's commercial, but
you can
get ts info quite easily. I haven't actually tried the plus version, but

standard is easy...and then just use check_snmp.
