Monitoring Meeting Maker

Hello,

   This past weekend our Meeting Maker server failed. It didn't crash so
we didn't get pages until a customer noticed the failure.

   I searched the SourceForge.net site and the Meeting Maker lists as
well as googling the web and usenet. No success so far.

   Meeting maker is claiming a failure in the winsock module. A quick
connection checker would be simple however an actual monitoring tool
would be better.

   Has anyone created such a tool?
