Checking for a logged on user on XP

 From a *nix machine, the nmblookup tool (with the -A flag, iirc), which 
is part of the Samba project, can be used to determine the user logged 
in to a Windoze host, and it's possible to write a plug-in which wraps 
around this and checks the output to see if the "required" user is 
logged in.
