errors in messages file

Hello all,

I have set nrpe running on a few production systems, and I am a little concerned with some warnings on the messages files,, can anyone shed some light on this? nrpe does seem to be working fine though as far as nagios is concerned. Nagios runs as a NIS user if that makes any difference???
