Creating new PNG/GD2 images.

Use your favorite image editing tool (I used Photoshop) to create pics
that are 40 pixels square.
Then save in .png, .gif, and .jpg format.
Now use the .png files to make the .gd2 files, with a command similar to
this:

pngtogd2 filename.png filename.gd2 0 1

This is what worked for me, YMMV.
