Status map

Hello.

I have big prblrms getting the status map work.

Running Nagios 1.0 under Redhat 8.

I have gd compiled from the start but when i do the make commands it complais that it cant find gd components.

Could you guys help me out here, im am no-good at linux :-( so i need a good description on what to check or a link to document that describes this for me.
