I would probably try to find out what I changed on the system, because
there are no changes "all of a sudden". But the mails shouldn't have
come from anonymous@ in the first place, running Nagios as nagios. In
my experience, nagios_user (in nagios.cfg) defines the sender of the
mails, everything else is MUA/MTA manipulation on the host and thus
not directly related to Nagios.
