Run Nagios without service checks ?

If you define a service like:

define service{
service_description     check-ping
check_command           check_ping
use                     generic-service
contact_groups          nobody
host_name               *
}


This covers pinging ALL of your hosts defined in the hosts.cfg file, so
you don't need to edit both files when adding a host.
