If you read the Nagios' docs (excellent, need to say), you will find one
entry named "SNMP Traps", where the answers to your doubts are placed.

Hello All,
 
Can anyone tell me how can I handle SNMP traps in nagios which are being
send by the machines on which SNMP Trap service is running.
