Archiv-logfiles are wrong name?

I had this problem (http://www.nagios.org/faqs/viewfaq.php?faq_id=93).
Problem turned out to be that the time on the server has stepping backwards
and forewards due to NTP. This seems to cause Nagios to have problems with
when the logs are rotated. The fix was to get the system admins to use NTP
in slewing mode, rather than stepping. This means there is only ever 1
midnight point.
