Batching notifications

I haven't seen any way to do this, but I am asking just in case it is 
posible...

Is there any way to batch notifications?  That is, if 20 servers all go 
down at once (a bad ups typically causes this), is there a way to avoid 
getting 20 seperate notifications?  I'm using parenting whenever 
possible, but sometimes it is not enough.

I am trying to avoid another $600 pager bill (6000 pages in one month).
