nagios Version 1.0b6 problems

Hi

I just upgraded nagios to Version 1.0b6 from b3.
Whenever I make a change to the hosts.cfg file, I get the message
"It appears as though you do not have permission to view information for 
any of the services you requested..." in my web browser. This is even 
before I restart the service. Same thing after I restart nagios.

Is this a know problem as it is driving me insane and I can't find the 
problem.
