Windows Event Log

Back in december I found a free program which forwarded event logs to a
configurable unix system syslogd, worked quite well.

i then wrote a little script to parse it and exclude 99% of nt events which
are completely misleading and raise "WARNING" or "CRITICAL" on a list of
error messages I knew of.

download the event log - > system log forwarder here:

http://www.kiwisyslog.com/products.htm#syslog

the freeware version works fine for me.
