check_nrpe fails, SSL handshake error (Solved)

I was receiving the same error that many on the list are receiving when
running NRPE.

The solution for me was to make sure the /etc/nrpe.cfg is owned and
readable by the nagios user

chown nagios.nagios /etc/nrpe.cfg
