The host keys were likely set up as root user, but Nagios executes them as
nagios user.

su nagios
set up host keys as this user

or

copy the host keys from root's .ssh/privatekeyfile to nagios user's .ssh
directory

Hallo,
i have a smal roblem to use check_by_ssh

I can run its on the Commandline like this:

nagiosserver:~ # /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_by_ssh -H
ssh-user at 80.190.193.66 -C /usr/libexec/check_procs
OK - 53 processes running
nagiosserver:~ #

But if I put this insite of my Nagios Configuration Files, then I get
"Host key verification failed." in my Web Interface.

What can be the Problem?

Thanks a lot
Manfred
