AFAIK, In Nagios version 2.0, there is the ability of using Boolean
operators in service checks to exclude hosts that are contained in a
hostgroup. In versions pre-2.0, you will have to define a whole new
hostgroup without those specific machines :/
In the meantime, you could also download 2.0 from CVS and start playing
with it.

*Or* you could just disable the SSH checks on those hosts and wait until
2.0 is released.
