Hi, I use nagios with the support of old configuration files syntax at my redhat Linux machine.
I need to be informed about the fact, that some node is down, but I don't want to get all the messages, but I want to get the messages 1-5, but not following (6-x).
I'm member of a group, that is set at the host:

host           [hradec]=AP Hradec n. Sv.;10.78.1.3;sy;check-host-alive;5;7;24x7;1;1;1;
hostgroup[hra]=hransvi;macek;hradec
contactgroup[macek]=Macek;macek-email
contact[macek-email]=Tomas Macek;24x7;24x7;0;0;0;0;1;0;notify-by-email;notify-by-email;mymail at domain.com;mymail at domain.com

All things work perfectly, but I need to get the messages from the first to five, not 6., 7., 8. and so on.
I thought, that this job will do this line...

hostgroupescalation[hra]=3-5;macek

... but it doesn't do the job.

Is it possible to make things work this way or not? How can I do it?

Tomas Macek
