Hi list,
I just setup nagios, but I think that I didn't get the templates idea.
Everytime I add a host I have to modify a least two files
(hostgroups.cfg and my template for new hosts). And this is a lot of
work as I have to specify the hostname at a lot of locations. And If I
want to add a new escalation level I have to modify all of my host
templates and service templates. And this, I'm sure, is too much
work... I hope someone can provide a "perfect" nagios configuration
with at least two escalation levels (mail/pager) and some hostgroups
and hosts.

I hope that I can save a lot of work...

Cheers and thanks
Nicki
