quick and dirty: write a script to run from the command line that jams the
desired state into the external command pipe.

Subject: [Nagios-users] Default Service State

Is there a way to make Nagios default a service state for some passive
services I have to Ok? I have about 8 services per server (They receive Dell
SMTP traps via snmptrapd for hardware failures) and they are all at Pending
UNLESS a trap is sent first. I would like to default these to "Ok" if
possible.

Thank You
william
