CPU load's effect on services

hi

I want to have some advice.
Does CPU load on the monitoring server (ie on which nagios is running)
affects the RTA values for ping services on various hosts. I think that
does.
So for that , do u think that all the service checks for hosts should be
dependent on CPU load check of monitoring server and if thats to be done,
what should we take as warning and critical limits.
