Error compiling plugins

Hi Everybidy,
I'm newbie with Nagios. I compiled everything OK in a Red-Hat box that
will be the host for Nagios.
I will check a Solaris farm, so I need to compile the plugins in both
Solaris 6 and 8. But when i compile the plugins i get the following
error:
Mksh: Fatal error in reader: = missing from replacement macro reference
Current directory ......
*** Error code 1

If someone can help, I'll appreciate.
