Nagios/Apache compatibility

I'm starting to build a system (Solaris 7) with Nagios 
1.05b and Apache 2.0.40.  Are there any known 
compatibility issues with this configuration?  Also is 
PGP highly recommended to check the Apache download? 
I've never used PGP before and welcome any advice.
