Additional Info: HTTP WARNING: HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

The Nagios http plugin does a "GET /" by default..

I suspect that whatever server you're attempting to do a GET on doesn't 
allow for GET /

I had this problem on one of my web servers... Try getting a document 
that you know exists on the server.  The http plugin has more 
information on how to set that up.
